Celebrating International Volunteer Day
Our volunteers are at the heart of our work
Volunteers and staff enjoyed teas, coffees and Swedish pastries at the Fabrique Bakery in Hoxton.
We marked International Volunteer Day with a lovely outing to celebrate our amazing volunteers.
First stop was Fabrique Bakery in Hoxton, where we enjoyed Swedish pastries. From there, we headed to the Museum of the Home to see the 'Winter Past' exhibition, which gave us space to reflect on traditions, resilience, and the year we’ve had together.
It was a chance to celebrate everything we’ve achieved, whether through workshops and community events, research projects, or simply being there to support Islington residents in accessing healthcare.
Thanks to Rose, Hawa, Lynda, Geraldine, and all our other wonderful volunteers. It's not just about the time you give; you're also helping to build stronger, more inclusive communities. We're so grateful for your energy, compassion, and commitment.
