Mental health services for young adults

50 young adults from a range of vulnerable backgrounds gave us their views on mental health, and the mental health support services they would find most useful.

Summary

We trained 21 more young adults to carry out peer research on the theme of mental health:

  • More support should be delivered in community, rather than institutional settings.
  • Support should not be delivered in isolation, but holistically; combined with social activities, advice, guidance and advocacy services.
