About this event

Approximately one in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. Mental Health Awareness Week aims to get people talking about their mental health and reduce the stigma that can stop people from asking for help. 

Mental Health Awareness Week in Islington

Voluntary Action Islington will be hosting an online event on 12 May 

  • We will hear about the great work voluntary sector organisations are doing in the borough to promote wellbeing.
  • Healthwatch chief executive, Emma Whitby, will speak about Islington's Challenging Inequality Strategy.
  • NHS commissioners will talk about the transformation of Islington's Mental Health Services.
