Health data and why it's so important in the fight against coronavirus

This event is taking place online
Tuesday 23rd June, 2020 - 10:30 to 12:30

About this event

Researchers from University College London will be explaining what health data is and how it is used:

  • We will hear from an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) doctor about the challenges that come from having so little data about COVID-19, which is a new virus.
  • We will learn what data is collected from us when we go into hospital, and why.
  • We’ll also be looking at what data we share on social media/ platforms and how we make this safe.

Although the presentations start at 10.30am please log on for 10.20 so we have time to make sure that everyone is connected to the meeting.
